Sally Thompson

Sally has delivered high quality property condition assessments, reserve fund studies, performance audits and engineering related to building renewal since 1990. Sally strongly believes that clients value sound, reliable advice over the lowest price, but in exchange, can be counted on to give 100% to everything she does.

For the Synergy team (and similarly for the condo industry as a whole), Sally is the go-to person when it comes to all things condo. Her depth of industry involvement combined with her technical expertise make her an invaluable resource. In addition to being an accomplished female engineer in a male-dominated industry, Sally has managed significant business units and sat on corporate boards. Sally helps provide guidance and acts as an effective role model for the next generation of female engineers and building scientists at Synergy.

In addition to her commitment to Synergy, Sally is an avid volunteer. Sally is committed to improving the condominium industry by helping condominiums get on the right financial path. She is the Past-President of the Toronto Chapter of the Canadian Condominium Institute, sits on the Tarion Condo Task Force, sits on a PEO committee on reserve fund studies and performance audits, and sits on the ACMO Associates Executive Committee. Sally has been heavily consulted as an expert in the public consultations on the Condominium Act over the last decade and is frequently asked to present at conferences and seminars.

For fun Sally enjoys spending time away from the city, at her cottage with her family and friends.
