THE OPPORTUNITY
You will:
• Coordinate site visits to visually assess conditions of all major building systems including structural, envelope, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Synthesize information collected on site with drawings, documents, and building operator interviews to identify components requiring major repair or replacement.
• Exercise engineering judgment to develop and recommend repair strategies including scope of repair, timing, and expected costs.
• Author full or partial narrative reports.
You have:
• A degree in engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Architectural Engineering).
• P.Eng designation or working towards it.
• Strong critical thinking skills including the ability to analyze and synthesize information from multiple sources and provide justifiable recommendations.
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Motivated to learn about all building systems (structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical). Training will be provided.
• Strong report writing skills, including diligent sentence structure, grammar, and spelling.
• Team player mindset.
We will provide:
Competitive salary of $67,000 to $88,000 annually plus profit sharing
